R & K Robinson supply spot colour and full colour lithographic and flexographic printed envelopes in a wide range of sizes ranging from C6 to C3.
Short to medium runs of overprinted stock envelopes can be litho printed using four colour process (CMYK) or in up to four spot colours on the face and reverse. The flap can also be printed. Flexographic printing is more economical than litho printing for longer runs of overprinted stock envelopes.
Overprinted envelopes can be supplied in white and manilla with and without windows. The sealing methods available are gummed, self seal and peel and seal. Various styles can be supplied including wallet envelopes, pocket envelopes, gusset envelopes and boardbacked envelopes.
Tyvek envelopes which are generally around 60gsm can also be overprinted. Tyvek is extremely strong and difficult to tear but can easily be cut with scissors. Only small areas can be printed on Tyvek but other envelopes can be supplied with similar properties where more ink coverage is required for bigger designs.
For overprinting envelopes, most presses need a grip of about 10mm on one edge of the envelope so your design should allow for this.
R & K Robinson can supply bespoke envelopes when stock envelopes are not suitable for what you require. Envelopes can be supplied in any size and include windows in almost any position. A personalised opaque interior can be printed including your company name or logo.
